<abstract>
<para>NMDIS works together with Second Institute of Oceanography,SOA on gathering macrobenthos data during research cruises in COMRA's contract area in 2011. Samples were collected using a TV multicorer and fixed by using Formalin.All collected data are processed, quality controlled, and provided with metadata for stations in a common workflow, and a common set of parameters with preferred and standardised units is determined and stored. Quality control includes logic tests and value range tests.</para>
